After trying different styles of yoga, she found Ashtanga Yoga. Loving the clear, consistent guidance and methodology behind this system, she embraced it wholeheartedly. It greatly supported her behavioral and healing studies and enhanced her understanding of the body-mind-spirit connection as well as the relationship to her inner self. It pushed her to move to India in 2011 to continue her yoga studies and make it her home.
Angelika is authorized Level 2 teacher from the Sharath Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, India (formerly known as KPJAYI) and an Advanced A Series practitioner. Furthermore, she holds a Yoga Alliance 200 hours certificate.
She is a qualified Life Alignment Practitioner and Intuitive Counselor. She works with groups and individuals in person and online, combining her passions - yoga, healing and personal development.
At Purple Valley Angelika is teaches the morning Mysore classes from Monday to Saturday. (Sundays being a day off) She is assisted by Misaki. Angelika also offers’ Intuitive Readings and Life Alignment Therapy sessions at the Centre. Please connect with her to book a session.

Misaki started yoga after a lifechanging meeting in Australia, while working in the restaurant industry. At that time, he was living his life with no focus, mindfulness or awareness. The meeting developed into a friendship, and eventually it inspired him to study yoga in India. He felt the benefits of hatha yoga immediately. However, the lack of constant routines became an obstacle in creating a consistent yoga practice. The discovery of Ashtanga yoga sequence brought in the routine he missed and helped him to cultivate a meditative mindset. Misaki comes from a professional football background and has a natural love of sports and body movement. Yoga has helped him to add mindfulness, breath and focus into his physical practices. He is dedicated to help other people become more aware of themselves and in their body. In addition, he uses yoga for injury rehabilitation. Misaki holds a 200hr yoga alliance certification in hatha yoga therapy, a 300hr certificate in Hatha yoga and a 200hr Ashtanga Yoga certificate. He is also a qualified Ayurveda yoga massage therapist. He offers massage therapy, which can be beneficial for many conditions, either as a cure or as a means of providing relief, promoting recovery from injury and illness, such as: Mental stress and physical tension Joints and muscles pain related to stiffness or illness. Respiratory problems. Circulatory problems related to stiffness and lack of exercise, bad posture and all forms of back, neck, shoulder pain etc Pain in the limbs Constipation, transit problems Stress, anxiety, depression, exhaustion and lethargy Migraine, headaches, insomnia and other sleep-related problems
