David Robson is the director of the Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Toronto, where he leads one of the world’s largest Mysore programs outside of India. After completing a degree in Comparative Religion, David made his first trip to Mysore, India in 2002, where he initiated studies with his teacher Sharath Jois.
Since then he has returned annually to deepen and enrich his practice and teaching, and since 2007 has been an Authorized Level 2 teacher. In addition to running his Mysore program in Toronto, David teaches workshops and retreats around the world, and he has released a popular series of instructional videos on Ashtanga called Learn To Float.  
After studying ballet for 16 years Jelena Vesic made yoga her sole focis in 2009.  She has studied with her teacher David Robson since 2010 and leads the evening Mysore program at Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Toronto. She travels with David on workshops and retreats around the world, and is becoming famous among Ashtangis for her "squishes".

Course Description:

Join David for two weeks of traditional practice and afternoon workshops.

All levels of students are welcome, including total beginners.  Classes and workshops will be designed to help people new to Ashtanga, and also develop the more experienced students practices.

This is a retreat that is focused on you practicing and deepening your Sadhana, the moving meditation of Ashtang'a vinyasa system.  Come prepared to work hard and experience purification and transformation.

Sunday to Thursday, mornings will begin at 6.30am with Mysore-style practice. Mysore is the traditional format for learning Ashtanga, and absolute beginners to more experienced students will be welcome in the class. On Friday mornings there will be a Led Primary class, set to the traditional Sanskrit vinyasa count.

Each week will offer 4 afternoon workshops on ideas, techniques and exercises to help you deepen your Ashtanga practice.  The workshops will be as follows:
